Jinquan-Gold and Silver Electrolysis Process
The gold and silver electrolysis process uses the difference in standard
reduction potentials of different metals: Au³⁺/Au +1.50V vs Ag⁺/Ag +0.80V.
Selective deposition of target metals, combined with hydrochloric acid (gold)
or silver nitrate (silver) electrolyte systems, can effectively separate precious
metal impurities such as platinum and palladium from base metals such as
copper and iron. The purity of cathode gold can reach 99.99% and cathode
silver can reach 99.999%.
Compared with traditional fire refining, the electrolysis method increases
the gold recovery rate to 99.95-99.95%, reduces energy consumption by 60%
(gold electrolysis 1.2-1.8kWh/kg), shortens the production cycle to 12-24 hours/batch,
and achieves nitrogen oxide emissions of <50mg/m³ and zero heavy metal
wastewater discharge through catalytic reduction and closed-loop water circulation
systems.
Industrial-grade gold and silver electrolysis equipment can process 500kg
of gold or 2 tons of silver per day. It is widely used in the manufacturing of London
delivery gold ingots, photovoltaic silver paste recycling (purity 99.99%), gold
extraction from electronic waste (300g/ton circuit board) and other fields. With
the intelligent upgrade (PCL system controls current density ±1%) and green
process innovation (cyanide-free electrolyte), it continues to promote technological
innovation in the precious metal circular economy.
