Due to the scarcity of domestic platinum group mineral resources and unbalanced supply and demand, in order to meet domestic demand, most of our platinum group metals, in addition to imports, come from the recovery of platinum group metal containing scrap, such as platinum palladium catalysts in petrochemical industry, automobile exhaust catalysts, etc.. Features of platinum palladium rhodium recovery refining production line.
Our platinum palladium rhodium recovery refining production line can be designed according to the owner's raw materials and operating habits, and can refine and separate platinum, palladium and rhodium materials with more than 5% content, and the content of each finished product reaches more than 99.95%.
I. High recovery rate of platinum, palladium and rhodium.
Platinum, palladium and rhodium waste catalysts in the process of recovery, there are certain processes to a small number of palladium oxidation formed insoluble in acid and alkali palladium oxide, direct use of aqua regia or chlorine dissolution dissolution rate is very low, in addition, the stability of rhodium iridium ruthenium and extremely insoluble in aqua regia characteristics also caused the recovery rate of rhodium iridium ruthenium is not high. We design the pretreatment process for this material, which can effectively improve its dissolution rate and thus increase the recovery of precious metals.
II. Continuous operation of the production line.
Our platinum palladium rhodium recovery line has the following advantages.
1、Designed glass high level tank to reduce the handling of employees and increase the capacity. The traditional PP high level tank is not suitable for cleaning, easy to dirty, and the liquid level is not convenient to observe, which leads to unqualified product quality and high production pressure; and the designed glass high level tank meets the production requirements well, the glass material is transparent and easy to clean.
2, in order to support the use of glass high level tank operation convenience, the traditional pumping filter bottle design improvement, change the design of the horizontal filter, horizontal filter filter filter completed, the lower connected to the guide tube, directly into the glass high level tank. 3, which is convenient for vacuum extraction of small amount of solution. This makes the production process more coherent and smooth, and doubles the capacity.
III. Reasonable design of air extraction.
Traditional platinum, palladium and rhodium refining are carried out in the wind cabinet, the wind cabinet extraction pipeline is normally open state, the overall design air volume design requirements are large, too large wind pressure leads to precious metal volatilization with steam, high loss rate of precious metal. The complete set of platinum, palladium and rhodium refining air cabinet is closed at the mouth of the reaction vessel, and the gas-liquid separation condensing device is added to the non-temperature reaction vessel to condense the water vapor, so that the waste gas directly enters the corresponding treatment pipeline. For example, in the process of aqua regia dissolution, the fume hood closes the reaction vessel, and the exhaust gas from the reaction is separated by gas-liquid condensation, and the condensate containing precious metals returns to the reaction vessel, and the nitrogen oxide exhaust gas directly enters the jet tower for treatment, which reduces the exhaust gas diffusion and keeps the workshop environment good. In the production refining process, all precious metal filters and storage tanks are made of glass and transparently visible from the process of making liquid from aqua regia to the finished product. There is a spray washing system attached to reduce the precious metal occupation pressure in the equipment.
Ⅳ, the waste gas treatment process is mature.
Our company has a mature precious metal refining waste gas treatment process, with multi-stage jet injection type high concentration nitrogen oxide waste gas treatment device, including gas-liquid separator, NO oxidation tank, jet injection tower, etc. For the high concentration nitrogen oxide fumes (~30,000 mg/m3) generated from the dissolution of platinum, palladium and rhodium, after disposal, the emission concentration is <100 mg/m3, as low as <20 mg/m
