The disadvantages are: the current density of this tank is relatively low (generally 250-350A/m2), the electrolysis speed is relatively low, and there are more electrolyte pressures in the equipment. The amount of capital accounted for is large and the turnover is slow. The traditional tracked silver electrolyzer needs to clean up the bottom of the tank after a period of production, and the silver powder accumulates under the track, which causes abnormal powder output.

a. Improve the working environment on site.
The silver electrolysis equipment adopts chiller to cool down the electrolyte. The temperature of the chiller is set to 40℃ when the electrolyte is running, and the chiller will start automatically to cool down the electrolyte when the electrolyte temperature reaches 40℃, and the chiller will stop running automatically when the temperature drops below 40℃. The electrolyte is not easy to volatilize under reasonable temperature, and the site does not smell acid gas, so the site working environment is obviously improved compared with the old workshop.
b. Fast electrolysis speed and significantly higher output.
Fast electrolysis speed, conventional silver electrolysis current density 300/㎡ (silver electrolysis current density 750A/m²). The current density is 2-3 times of the current conventional silver electrolysis tank. Much higher production capacity for the same size of equipment. Smaller production floor area required for the same production capacity. c. Convenient operation for workers, saving time and effort.
(1) Adopting mechanized conveyor belt to discharge silver powder, the silver powder precipitated on the cathode is scraped down to the mechanical conveyor belt at the bottom of the tank and transported out of the electrolytic tank through the slope structure in the front section of the tank, and directly dropped into the car transporting silver powder to be sent to washing and ingot casting. Reduce the labor intensity of workers.
(2) Adopting automatic stirring device, the silver powder output on the cathode plate is automatically scraped off without manual scraping off, avoiding the short circuit phenomenon between cathode and anode, which not only improves the reliability of electrolytic tank operation, but also improves the reliability of the original once a month production stoppage to clean the bottom of the tank, and now nearly 7 months of continuous production for stoppage to clean. It also reduces the labor intensity of workers.
d. Energy saving: 1) Silver electrolysis has automatic stirring device, avoiding short circuit between cathode and anode, no silver powder in anode bag, saving a lot of nitric acid when dealing with anode mud, according to the current statistics, the daily amount of nitric acid used for cooking anode mud is reduced from 400Kg/day before to 300Kg/day.
2)Reducing the amount of nitric acid by 100Kg per day, generating 36.5Kg less nitrogen oxide per day, and calculating the air volume of 7000m3 per hour according to the data tested in the early stage, the nitrogen oxide content decreases by 1738mg/m3, saving the post-treatment cost after the reduction of nitrogen oxide emission.
Third, improve the stability of electrolyzer operation.
The new silver electrolyzer adopts a new electrolyte circulation method, changing the direction of electrolyte circulation flow in the electrolyzer, adopting the way of parallel flow with the cathode arrangement, effectively reducing the concentration difference polarization between the cathode and the anode, and substantially increasing the current density of electrolytic production and reducing the concentration of silver ions in the electrolyte on the premise of ensuring the quality of silver powder reaches the national standard No.1 silver.
